African Print Pop Up

The month of May is one of my favorite months in Africa purely because its Africa month and in this month that are so many great events and initiatives designed to allow us to collectively connect and celebrate the richness of our diverse cultures.

In line with Africa Day i invited my friends to join me for a Pop up event and we had so much fun yesterday. The Apollo Hotel in Randburg was our venue and we had over 10 brands show casing at the Fashion and accessories event. From Portuguese cuisine, to african print inspired accessories , vintage and afrocentric fashion to good company we really had fun.

I truly want to thank all the ladies that came through to support our initiative. We truly appreciate it. We received such positive feedback and we will definitely utilize it to enhance and develop our offering. Our print collaboration is unique for a lot of reasons as all the brands are all owned and were founded by women, our team is a mesh of women from diverse careers and are a true representative of our continent Africa. We have ladies from Congo, Zimbabwe , South Africa and Angola.
