Golden Globes 2013 (in style)

2013 is here and so are the Golden Globes. This is the 70th edition of the Golden Globes. Thanks to MNet a girl like me got a chance to see some of her favourite Producers , Directors and Actors being honoured for their hard work and passion. When i was about 10 years or so my parents could never get me to leave the TV screen. I was glued to it , being the sucker that i am for the TV and Cinema. It was so ridiculous that i remember my Dad saying if he had all the money in the world he would buy me the biggest TV Screen as a gift on my wedding day.That day has not arrived yet but it would be a great gift.

The NOT SO BEST DRESSED for the night celebs were:

SIENNA MILLER (what was that? I get that you want to support British upcoming Designers but seriously now)

JESSICA CHASTAIN for a nominee you could have done much better Sisi. That colour was not the perfect colour for you. The dress should not wear you, you must wear the dress. You have such a beautiful body. Call me and i will be happy to help you out.

JODY FOSTER. I was disappointed in that dress. You were receiving a life time achievement award. Is that your best???

ADELE please stop wearing black. It’s like you are always in mourning. You are an intelligent lady you obviously know what black does psychologically to people. Please empathize with your fans and just get over the black colour.

LUCY LUI..I honestly don’t care who designed that dress. That is a NO No at all levels..Those petals on that dress. Actually it is not your fault..DESIGN GONE WRONG, that’s all.

AMANDA SEYFRIED. What beautiful dress, just not for you. It did not do you justice. You mentioned that you were given the dress and you could take it home with you. My suggestion is please auction it and donate the money to charity, that dress has no business being in your wardrobe..HAIBO!!

Marion Cotillard. Great colour , beautiful shoes , beautiful woman. What’s up with the length of the dress, really? You know you can do better.

BEST DRESSED

TAYLOR SWIFT looked stunning in this color. The dress is perfect for her body type and shows off her awesome figure. The back detail of the dress is also fantastic and gives that little surprise to the dress. I also love the fact that she did not have too much jewellery on , as that can take away the focus from the dress.

SALMA HAYEK was perfect in this black dress.Black is the best and also safe colour if you are not sure what to wear. If you are running out of time it saves you all the hassles. As always she did not disappoint me.

ROSARIO DAWSON. Of all the colours to choose from i was not expecting this one. I was expecting a lot of red, tangerine, black. Firstly the outfit is perfect. Well tailored, great for her body type and by letting down her hair she made it even more sexy. It is a toned down colour but stunning.

NAOMI WATTS looked amazing in this dress. The colour is just beautiful. I love the back detail of the dress and she sold it well with her Red Carpet pose.NB : If you have the African derriere this dress is not for you. That piece of cloth at the back will make your booty look bigger than it actually is. As you know the more booty you got, the less details your outfits should have around that area

EVA LONGORIA. I love this lady and she never disappoints me. This dress was one of my favourites for the night. She proves why black is the best colour for a night like this. That open front detail on her dress shows off her well toned legs. She is not the tallest of women in Hollywood but she did a great job with this dress. The lace detail gives it that sexiness.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE looked great in this red dress.The belt defines her waist and shows off her body. For a first time recipient she did a great job and CONGRATULATIONS on your win Jennifer.

JESSICA ALBA was also one of my favourites for the night. Love everything about her outfit. The choice of jewellery she paired the dress with. Nice hairstyle it shows off her beautiful face. The colour off the dress is just wonderful.WELL DONE JESSICA!!!!

I love Smash and being a fan of KATHERINE McPHEE i was so relieved and happy when i saw her on the Red Carpet. She looked amazing and elegant. Perfect choice.

JENNIFER GARNER is one of my favourite actresses in Hollywood. With her husband being a nominee for the night she did a good job in dressing up perfectly to support her man.I love the choice of colour for her and as always she has a great body for it. AMAZING.

For an expecting baby momma KRISTEN BELL looked stunning. What i love mostly about the dress was the bling detail at the back and how well styled she was for the night.

AMY ADAMS was gorgeous. I love the pink colour she chose. The detail at the bottom of the dress was beautiful and the fact that she knew what she wanted for the night, what motivated her choice shows that she is woman who knows what she wants. Some of these stars can barely remember the name of the Designer who’s dress they have on. That is just nasty..

CONGRATULATIONS to BEN AFFLECK on his win. He has really come and he deserves it. His Tuxedo was one was on of my favourites for the night. That navy blue colour was an awesome choice.
