Gwyneth and Chris’s marriage comes to an end…

Approximately 8 hours ago Chris and Gwyneth Paltrow announced that they are separating and ending their marriage of  11 years. Gwyneth announced the news on her lifestyle website Goop. The Hollywood couple have been married since December 2003 and have 2 children Apple and Moses.

The message below is the message from Chris and Gwyneth and she refers to it as “Conscious uncoupling”. Divorce/Separation/Conscious Coupling so many names , it’s hard to keep up nowadays. I guess it doesn’t matter what you call it, when it’s over it’s over. I did not see this coming. I really loved Gwen and Chris as a couple but then again what do i know about what happened in their marriage?  As all divorced parents do Gwyneth says she and Chris will be focusing on their children and she states that they will stay as a family.  It is really sad when relationships come to an end and there is no death do us part. I wish them both well and hope that they will find the love they seek.

Conscious Uncoupling

It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate. We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been. We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children and we ask for their and our space and privacy to be respected at this difficult time. We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and co-parent, we will be able to continue in the same manner.
