Happy Birthday to me as a blogger!!

Thank you for being a part of this milestone. I cannot believe it has been 4 years already.I started blogging on my Blackberry phone which i did not even own. My awesome friend Innocentia Ndlovu who has always been my greatest supporter, Manager and bestie gave me that phone to use. She understood how at that time is was important to me to share my thoughts and inspire other young women but above all remind myself how key it was to honor the dreams God had given me. She has been a great part of this journey as well.

I had just returned from home and had given my Dad my phone because he was not online. I wanted to ensure i could stalk him whenever i wanted to. I am a Daddy’s girl. My Mom thought i had made a great sacrifice so she gave me her Nokia phone. I knew i twas a matter of time before God would bless m with another phone. It is crazy the things we do out of faith. It was one of the greatest gifts she had given me but it was not an android phone so i had taken a few steps back as far as being online was concerned. I survived with it till i was in Joburg and started working as a Blogger for a local Celebrity, it suddenly dawned on how desperately i needed a phone. Innocentia saved me. My Blog was launched on this day 4 years ago while Innocentia and i were lying in bed chatting bout what i was going to be doing for my 30th birthday. It is a crazy but definitely fond memory and one of my defining moments. I appreciated my voice and knew all i wanted to do was share it so others could have the power to believe in their dreams. It is never enough to dream , unless and until you dreams nag you to a point ere even you are frustrated about no doing anything about them , you are still comfortable just being a dreamer. Winners respect time and respect results.

Time truly flies when you are having fun. I remember sharing all blog posts on every platform i could think of and also because WordPress encouraged me to do that, the editing, the content strategizing etc. How can i also forget the days when every recharge was for data purposes so i could update the Blog?  Wordpress and i have had a good relationship and i could not have chosen a better hosting service provider. Thank you to everyone who follows and visits the Blog. To my friends and families who are online and not following my Blog , shame on you..ki ki ki.
