Isibaya Commisioned to Soapie

Like many South Africans who love and appreciate Isibaya I am so excited that it has been commissioned into a Soapie by Mzansi Magic.

This is great news for me because now I can safely and proudly shift from Generations to Isibaya and adopt it as my favorite Soapie. We all know what junk we have been forced to watch on our Tv screens and accept as entertainment by Generations over the last couple of months. Such gross abuse.

From the first day Isibaya was live on our Tv screens many Mzansi Magic viewers were captivated by it. It was refreshing, unique and has a talented cast that delivered a story so captivating. Who knew how interesting and yet scandalous the taxi world could be?

Isibaya is a drama telenovela show created by Angus Gibson, Catherine Stewart, Theboho Mahlatsi and Desiree Maarkgraafand produced by the Bomb Shelter. Set against the backdrop of the Taxi Industry, Isibaya focuses on the brutal feud and the battle for wealth and power between the Zungus and the Ndlovus, two taxi-owning rival families in the Tugela Valley.

Isibaya will be airing at 20.30 pm on Mzansi Magic everyday from Monday to Friday. Here’s to great times with my remote and my couch.
