Lupita covers Marie Claire

The May issue of Marie Claire USA features three covers: Lupita Nyong’o, Kate Mara, and Elle Fanning. There was a party last night in Hollywood to celebrate these 3 stars. Both Kate and Elle wore red while Lupita stole the night away with a Giambattista Valli Couture dress which is so stellar and elegant and very much 50s inspired i guess.

The color is not only great, subtle but the flower detail on the dress is stunning. Whoever her Style Advisor is they are doing a great job. Looking at the photos below you can just see that Lupita stole the attention, not intentionally i hope but hey any girl deserves all that love and attention.

Meanwhile, Elle went for a ’90s look with her  Versace slip dress while on the other hand Kate chose a more clean cut tuxedo-style with a Christian Dior dress. All the stars have their own cover in the Marie Claire May issue. Which i could get my hands on one right now…

My favourite picture of all is the picture of Lupita and Danai Gurira Zimbabwean -American Actress and Playwright. it reminds you why colour is not the essence of beauty but self knowledge and confidence are.
