Congratulations to Yolisa Phahle who has been officially appointed as the CEO of MNet South Africa. She has has been appointed as the new M-Net CEO for South Africa from 1 April 2014 in a newly created position, she will oversee the now distinctly separated three regions of South Africa, East Africa and West Africa.
In her new position, Yolisa Phahle who has been the director for M-Net’s local entertainment channels, will report directly to Patricia van Rooyen who now has the title of sub-Saharan CEO of M-Net.
I have personally met Yolisa at many of the Channel O and MNet events and she is such a humble and delightful lady. I personally wish her the best in her leadership role. Seeing women like Yolisa succeed to this level is not just about hard work and passion alone but it is a testament that women can truly lead a team or a Company and the results are visible. Any young lady aspiring to be a CEO one day can look this lady up and will be definitely inspired by her journey. To the man out there who are still skeptical about women in leadership…Sorry for you…Just embrace change and be supportive.
