MTV BASE MAMAs coming to SA…

Viacom International Media Networks International Africa have just announced that the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) will take place in South Africa for the first time.  The MTV Africa Music Awards for 2014 will take place in Durban on the  7 th of June in Durban.

The Awards will be hosted at the Durban International Convention Centre and the show will be aired on MTV Base’s Channel 322 on DStv, MTV  channel 130. The MTV Africa Music Awards celebrate musicians and achievers impacting Africa’s youth culture and for any Artist to receive recognition is an honor. Wonder who will come out shining on top?? On the MAMAs Line up is BlackCoffee, Dj Tira, MICASA, The Arrows, Da Les, and Flavour as shared on Twitter via the MTV Base Twitter Account.

The MTV Africa Music Awards 2014 are open to all artists whose music videos have been accepted for airplay on MTV Base or MTV during the qualifying period of 20 March 2013 to 19 March 2014.
