Am I the only Christian who struggles finding a balance between work, business, family, friends to such a point that you struggle to make time to read the bible and before you know it, it’s literally a week or a month from the last time you touched your bible? The word of God should be one’s daily bread , but I soon realized that I did not read it as much as I used to when I was little. Maybe life happened. Maybe I lost discipline. I got to a point where I would carry my bible to work as an aid to ensure I feed my spirit the same way I feed my mind, needless to say all my attention was on work. Thank heavens for the rhapsody from Christ Embassy church.
This small book makes reading the word of God such a breeze. It is a life savior especially if you live life on the go and you have a hectic work/family schedule. It has daily scriptures for 30 days and not only that but a Pastor Chris also motivates you in this rhapsody and helps you remember through the word of God what you can achieve. I also live this book because you can buy for a gift for someone who does not know it have a relationship with the Lord as it serves the purpose of also teaching us of Christ’s way of living. I have not had one of these in over a year. You can imagine my excitement when I found the July copy lying around in the office. I almost jumped for joy, literally.
I am not ashamed to share that sometimes i do fall off the wagon. If you don’t , good for you but if you are like me or have been down this road, no need to feel guilty. The great thing us you know where you are spiritually and where you are going. Take it one day at a time and keep working on strengthening that relationship with your creator. What are your tips or practices that help you read your bible consistently coz I cannot say everyday since life as we know it is very hectic. Are you one of those folks who download online Bible reading plans do they work? What was the longest time you went on without reading your bible? Please to share your thoughts.Would love to hear from you.
