SAMA 2014 Nominees Announced

It is definitely Red Carpet Season in SA, with the Metro Fm Awards and the Royal Soapie Awards over , it is SAMA time.

2014 marks the 20th Edition of the South African Music Awards in SA and this award ceremony which is also open to the public unlike the SAFTAs is one the most highly anticipated events in SA.

Congratulations to Naima Kay who is doing exceptionally well for  a 1st timer in the Industry. Mafikizolo’s come back Album is  the classic come back story that we will talk of years to come as this is one of the best albums that they have received so much recognition for. Uhuru is currently one of my favourite House Music Groups and i wish them all the best. A big welcome back to Zama Jobe who’s current Album is doing well.

The Nominees for 2014 were announced yesterday morning at Carnival City. The judging panel that hosted the Announcement event consisted of Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Elvis Blue, Jabu Hlongwane, Zahara,  J’Something of MiCasa, Lulu Dikana and Khaya Mthethwa.
