Same Show, New Ass – Trevor Noah and The Daily Show

Jon Stewart has officially taken leave and I guess we are just counting down the days to Trevor Noah’s debut as the host of the American show “The Daily Show”. He was announced as the new successor earlier this year in March and social media was abuzz with excitement especially here in South Africa.

Though the news was meant to show us the new era of comedy that the show will be going into it was quickly welcomed and scarred with Twitter rage at Trevor Noah’s old and probably stale jokes about women and ……blah blah blah blah

Comedy Central released a teaser promo for Trevor’s debut show with the tag line “same show , new ass” . Well I am excited about this new ass considering he is a son of the African soil and he is flying the African flag high and making us proud personally I would say his ass deservedly should be on that new chair.

Congratulations again  to Trevor and his management team as we know not all entertainers get that far if they do not have a vision and do not have a publicist or Manager who is focused. I also applaud Jon Stewart for defending his choice of a new successor.  Will you be tuning in on the 28th of September?
