Sneakers on A Dress (with Nike)

For as long as i could remember wearing a dress or a skirt with sneakers was a huge deal in Zimbabwe. We even received some flack for it from some South Africans. They used to say “if you see someone wearing sneakers and a skirt or dress, it’s a Zimbabwean”. I never saw anything wrong with this till i started living in SA myself.
Hello 2015 and times have changed. Trends are very fragile. One minute a trend is hot and the next it’s not. Consumers dictate the trends at the end of the day. I am so glad i can freely rock my sneakers with my skirts and dresses. Thanks to the likes of Thandiswa Mazwai and Nhlanhla Nciza this look became very popular. In the name of honouring the classic trend that was acknowledged in Africa before magazines like Elle and Grazia covered it , here are my favorite Nike Sneakers ranging from R1 300 to R1 500.
So next time you look at your sneakers, even the running ones, please remember you can rock these with a dress. If you need help call me. I am mobile so i can attend to clients in Jhb.
Purple is of my favorite colors and it is easy to style just like black. So this Sneaker is my number 1 choice for a perfect Summer Sneaker!!

2. What is Summer without loads of orange? Unlike the first sneaker i love this one more because of the 3 dominate colors (neon green, black and the dominant color orange). This Sneaker is easy to style with a black dress or a black shorts with a white tank.

3. The classic black sneaker is a must coz you can abuse it and wear it every other day with dresses, skirts or jeans.

4. I am not a fan of this white Sneaker by Nike. I feel like it’s too bland. I guess i love drama. This sneaker is for my girls who like to keep their look simple and clean and no drama.

5. My brother and his girlfriend wear the same shoe size and they have this black and gold Nike sneaker similar to this one. I call this the “Boyfriend Sneaker” coz you can share it with your man if you are one of those cute couples who share clothing. This Sneaker is very casual and can be worn with a knee length dress
