I am always surrounded by women who aspire to change the world. Women who are driven to be better and seek challenges that help them achieve not only their personal goals that develop them but also seek to empower other women.
One of my friends and sister who is a an Attorney by profession and her friend who is a Business Coach and creative Strategist recently hosted a High tea event at a stunning venue hidden in Sandton.
Ntombizodwa Sibanda and Bonnie Chimanikire recently hosted their 1st High Tea event and i must say i was impressed. Initially i came on board to help with the Social Media drive for the event but in the end i soon became an admirer. What is is even insane is that i had never met her partner Bonnie. It is only now that i am writing this blog post i am realizing that i had never met Bonnie till the day of the event.
Media constantly tells us women cannot support each other but this High Tea proved these journalists out there wrong. We can partner together as women on initiatives we are passionate about and support each other. It is a choice that is governed by one’s values and background.
The Acorn Lane Guest house was our venue on the 8th of November. I met so many women at the event and had a great opportunity to exhibit my Honey Accessories business as well as network.A couple of ladies were so lucky as they walked away with some goodies i had my mind on. Sometimes it is unfair to know the host of an event , when it comes to competitions you are automatically disadvantaged….lol
Congratulations ladies. The month of November in 2016 cannot arrive any sooner for me. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. I would also like to extend a personal thank you to all the ladies who came and supported my sister’s event. You not only invested in her dream but you have also given young children a Christmas gift as half the proceeds of what you paid will go to the Charity Organisation Ntombizodwa and Bonnie support.
See you next year!! Make sure this is the only High Tea event you attend annually…
Here’s what you missed out on…
